A beautiful Hotel with lots of history. The staff was very nice and helpful. I love the quiet laid back setting in this area and not the casino scene. If you like that it’s within minutes drive. Right across from the beach and has lots of seating areas to relax on the property. Room was very nice and bed comfortable. They have a nice bar on main lobby that has a great breakfast menu. The main restaurant is under remodeling at the time my husband and I went but the menu looked delicious. We have definitely found us a new place to stay when we return to Biloxi.

Musty Smell

My room on the first floor smelled so badly that I had to sleep with my coat over my head. The WiFi was nonexistent and the TV didn’t get a signal to operate. The only working outlet was across the room from the bed and only chair, just in the middle of the wall, waist high. Very odd. The alarm clock was unable to have the time changed or have the alarm set, so worthless. The walls are so thin you can hear your neighbor sneeze. Staff was nice and my breakfast was good, but sleeping was difficult and stinky.

It’s a beautiful place overlooking the Biloxi bay. I have stayed here several times and will again. Do yourself a favor a book a room you won’t regret it.

Serendipity

We were lucky enough to have been overbooked at a premier hotel in Biloxi that sent us toThe White House. This gem proved to be excellent on all points and we will be back for more of The White House experience.
Thanks to our gracious hostess Fran and the ladies serving wonderful cocktails at the beautiful bar.

Great value and a historic location

Wonderful staff, great location right across from the beach and with easy access to the casinos. The room and bathroom were spacious and clean. The one thing that could be improved is the mattress, which was not the most comfortable, but this place is a significant value compared to the nearby casino hotels.
