1. cheap price but spacious room -very good
2. Part of washstand was broken, but a big problem

Very close to Knotts attractions!

There are definite pros and cons about this property. Pros: across the street from Knotts Soak City and one block from Knotts Berry Farm. Very quiet. Clean room. Mini fridge, microwave and small table and chairs. Heated pool. Cons: NO box springs, so after a few hours, your back will hurt so bad you'll be forced to get it. Very small room and bathroom. Mirror above the bed with blue "mood" lighting was incredibly weird. Furniture was old and outdated.
From my experience, I believe this property is under new management. I think that the new owners are doing their best to address issues, but to get this property modernized will take time. There were examples of this: new door key entry systems, new shower tiles. But the showerhead was so old and calcified, it impacted waterflow. New television in the room, but furniture was at least 30 years old and the dresser in particular, was nonfunctional. For the price and location, staying here was a deal! But if management wants return customers, more work is needed.

I told the front desk that they must have issued me the worst room possible. Most rooms lead out to the parking
Lot however my room was in a cooridor that echoed and had several people in and out after hours. It sounded as if they were next to my bed. I do not know about the other rooms but ours was horrible. Bad way to start vacay.

Great price. The linens and room were clean. Service was excellent. Most uncomfortable hotel pillow I’ve ever slept on. Mediocre beds. One roach.

Overall I had a peasant stay. The management is effective and accommodating. The facility is vintage but adequately maintained. They seem to be overly concerned about the key return only giving you one and lost keys are $5 charge. They “meter” the ice use under supervision which I had never seen before, and I travel a lot. They only had one machine for the whole place and my room was at the far end from it. Made for unnecessarily long walks for ice. Parking on weekends was tougher than weekdays. The ac/heat failed my first night but was repaired the next day. The price was good for the area. It’s across the street from Knotsberry so it attracts lots of families.
