Safe and clean place to stay

This is a simple hotel. It's clean, safe and remodeled sometime recently. The staff is very nice, and met any need we had. The breakfast is just simple cold breakfast. If you are looking for luxury, this might not be the place. But if you are looking for a good location, close to the beach where you can enjoy your time, this is perfectly fine!

Not the best.

The room was okay for the most part. The atmosphere was kind if sketchy. You drive back toward the hotel seeing all of these nice places and then you realize you are in the "motel" behind them all. The check in staff had a weird attitude but the guy helping with bags when we left was nice. The breakfast offered is pretty good also. The elevator creaks like it's going to break and our room door had a gap so you were able to see the sunlight thru the door. The shower had mold in it also. The lamps by the window and on the desk didn't work at all. I wouldn't recommend it.. the only really good thing was that we were 1 mile from the beach.

We were told that we were double booked and Spark would have to charge us for the extra room. However, I have only one confirmation notice from Hotels.com. I don't really know if it was a Hotels.com error or a Spark error. Anyway, after reaching out to Hotels.com, which then reached out to Spark, the problem resolved. It is the attitude of the front desk at first that left me a sour taste.

Overall very clean, front desk lady was very nice to get us into a room when we arrived before check in. The free breakfast was adequate but the day we were there the pool did not seem to be open.

There was NO PARKING! You could hear EVERYTHING IN the hallway and room next door. Very disappointed
