Oxford is a very nice small town; the Graduate is a good place to begin your exploration

Hotel is Short Staffed
When my brother and I arrived for our stay, we went to the front desk a few minutes after 4pm ( check-in time ) and were told our room was not ready just yet. When I inquired about how much longer it would be, I could not be given a definitive response. The front desk proceeded to verify my phone number and would give me a call when it was ready. My brother and I killed some time with an early dinner and drinks. I then called the front desk at 5:35 to see if the room was ready yet and if not was there any kind of time frame. At that point I was sent over to a manager who could still provide no answers other than they could cancel it so I would be freed up to look for other accommodations. So, basically we had no place to stay and had to scramble to find some where else to go. All was well, we ran over to Tunica and grabbed a hotel and that was fine.
However, this experience has left a permanent bad taste in my mouth and I will forever Strike Hilton Hotels from my places that I would stay. I usually only stay at 4-5 star hotels to avoid such poor service such as this. I had no idea that Hotels could hold a 4 star status and provide this level of poor service.

Classic and fun styled hotel - great stay!
Arrival and check-in was fast and efficient. I appreciated the welcome sign of hospitality for everyone, including people of all races, ethnicities, and sexual orientations. It does matter, especially today, and especially in Mississippi (which has a reputation of hostility towards minorities) - no problems here, as everyone was most cordial and respectful. We were cheerfully upgraded to a suite due to my Hilton Honors Diamond membership, and this was much appreciated. Although this hotel doesn’t offer staffed luggage service, luggage carts were available, and plentiful parking is right outside the door. The lobby area is smartly decorated and comfortable with lots of seating areas.
The room was spacious and well decorated. The overall theme was sports icons of Ole Miss, and this was well executed throughout with lots of fun reinforcements ( example - the key cards are ‘student IDs’ of alumni sports legends.) The room featured a large outdoor patio overlooking Courthouse square. Plenty of comfortable seating, and lots of closet and clothing storage space.
Bathroom was spacious with great lighting, nice shower with good water pressure. Everything was spotlessly clean., and housekeeping serviced the room daily. Room was very quiet; I never heard any noise from other guests.
I checked out via the mobile app and my charges folio as correct and my Hilton Honors points and bonuses were quickly and accurately credited to my account.
Dining
We spent an afternoon and one evening dinner at ‘ The Coop’ rooftop bar. Charming indoor and outdoor seating areas, offering some great cocktails, and tasty sports-bar food menu. Music playing in the bar was perfect volume; energetic but not so loud to interfere with conversation. Ate breakfast one morning at the on-site reastuarant off the lobby called ‘Cabin 82’. Limited menu, but everything was tasty, and served quickly, so this is certainly a good place for breakfast lunch, with both indoor and sidewalk patio seating available.
Overall
I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here. I appreciated the hotel theming and styling, the great location, easy to walk to all the shops and restaurants in Downtown Oxford. Staff were all pleasant and eager to please. I didn’t have any problems with my stay. I’d definitely not hesitate to return here to stay for a future visit.
