Nice hotel, felt a little outdated (lousy lighting in the rooms and no mini fridge either). Other than that, they checked us in relatively quickly and parking was available!

Not worth repeating

Upon arrival we were immediately with wet feet in the room, because the fixed carpet to the bathroom was all wet. By cleaning? Or because of a leak?? Also, the beds were not made clean. Black (shame?) hair and stains on the sheets, the sheets all creased (slept?) and the down blanket draped over them. After complaints to the reception, the dirty sheets just remained. Terùg had to complain and then the bed was made again. To compensate we got a drink, but we had to choose the cheapest. The next day the beds were again not made properly. Just draped the duvet over the bed slept in. Bad house keeping!!
In the middle of the night, the fire alarm suddenly goes off. Apparently a false alarm, but you had to figure that out yourself.
We rented 2 bikes. You have to look for it yourself in the bike shed, somewhere outside, and in the evening when cycling back the lights didn't work. The next day we got 2 other bikes whose front lights worked. Tail light again not. The last day we rented two electric bikes. They were at the very back of the bike shed so we had to move the other bikes outside first before we could access our bikes. Battery did not appear to be fully charged.
We have already stayed in better hotels for this price...

Clean and modern bathroom. Free parking.
Room is on the small side. Not enough storage space for 2 persons. No mini fridge. Hot water kettle available in the room.

Surprisingly good hotel, good base for a day Groningen.

Great location and definitely for a trip to Groningen city center. Good cuisine and great breakfast. Everything was clean and well cared for. Unfortunately no power in the room on arrival, but immediately received a new room, also no power there. Fuse was the culprit.

Nice location. Modern design. But bad room layout. Closet not in right location not as you enter room but around the corner beside the bed. Difficult to get to and not deep enough to hold the full width of a coat hanger. Room safe below it difficult to access. Bathroom top big, could have used extra space for rest of room.
