Jaipur Amer
My first visit to Jaipur when I stayed at Doubletree Amer with my family. The hotel room was equipped well to accommodate travelers, additional amenities available upon request and promptly provided. We dined at the hotel restaurant Amber Kitchen which offers a variety of cuisines. Here we met with Komal and Prateek. Prateek was very helpful in providing cuisine details to help order for my group of 15 including kids. Komal was very sweet and became friends with our toddler. She was very attentive and quick to service our table. She even surprised us with a special treat before we checked out. One of our bags was left behind and required a special trip to return to the hotel to pick up. The hotel staff tried their best to help us avoid a 1 hr driving time. I would highly recommend staying at this location.

By far the worst Doubletree/Hilton I have stayed in.
I regularly stay in Hiltons for work and personal life, we stayed in 3 during our vacation in India (12-15 March 25), the other two Hiltons/Doubletrees were marvellous as expected ...this hotel was terrible, we had constently awful service, were lied to about restaurants and food; we went up to the pool side bar/grill for dinner only to find it all closed and dark, asked at reception was told it was openbut then the bar tender explained he had to cover ground floor and rooftop bar, as this guaranteed awful service we ate in the restaurant only to be told the only option was the rather bland buffet. Another evening I asked for the a la carte menu and was told in restarant that the only choice again was the buffet, 15 minutes later an indian couple at the table next to us were offered the a la carte menu. After the meal, we asked for a coffee, we were told the machine was broken - a 4/5* hotel and no apology simply "the machine is broken". We walked 20m over to the bar and asked another server and was told not a problem and served correctly. Whne we asked for drinks they consitently took too long to arrive (~20 min for a glass of wine), my only praise goes to Achal, our server one evening, who I could see being frustrated by this and chasing things for us.
We had no glasses on the table, when we asked we were given dirty ones, we asked for clean ones, and after 25 mins none had come and the servers were just chatting - we gave up and left - it was obvious they did not care. This is not what I have come to expect of the Hilton/Doubletree brand.
Another occassion we asked for tea and it didn't arrive, nor sugar etc. Service in restuarants was simply awful.
Each time our room was serviced they took the dirty towels and never brought new ones so each time we had to call down to reception for towels.
Other hotels we stayed at at faults or areas for improvement but you accept those, they can still be great hotels and get a great review with just some small areas to take to next level, but being blantantly lied to by staff over what options are available for food is simply unforgivable and no worthy of the Hilton name.
