Comfortable stay

The hotel property is very good and the rooms are very clean and comfortable for staying food items have a large variety and the tastesof food was very good and authentic the staff behaviour is very good specially receptionist tanu shree ,sawanatany,shreya are very nice and friendly

Very poor experience at Hotel Aristocrat, New Town, Kolkata

There is definitely something wrong with rating in this site for this hotel. I have travelled so many places. Even small-town hotels have much better facility/rooms than this. It seems nothing is working right for this hotel. I stayed for one night on 5th Dec on a official business visit. Pathetic check in experience. The attendant was shabbily dressed. The person was very rude as well and he was not able to manage incoming guests and there were a lot of noise, arguments and name calling in check in counters in front of 20 guests. The lobby was below average. The corridor wallpaper peeling off, smelly and not vacuum cleaned for ages. Rooms are small (for one-night Rs 4500/-), bathroom is even smaller. You can hardly move around. Water outlet was blocked, and water was not getting drained properly. Linen and towels were ok though. We were in 7th floor where we had to face mosquito bite throughout the night. The area around the hotel is full of trash/plastic/cigarette butts. Management obviously is not bothered about anything.Breakfast was ok but very limited option/spread was available. I asked for an omelette and it did not come even after three reminders, and I left the restaurant very irritated. Staff were more or less courteous. Overall, very very poor experience. Would not recommend even if it offered 2000/- a night.

Peerage Restaurant

Ambient space and hotel were really helpful breakfast was really nice and they offer multi cuisine food . Live counter Egg and dosa is available there . Specialy thanks to Mr Manas and Ms Ankita. Thank you team. As soon as possible I am visit again .

Excellent service

First time I have visited Aristocrate Hotel in Kolkata.
Sevice was amazing. Food was delicious, attitude and behaviour of all the hotel staff was nice.
Specially thanks to Miss Ankita and Mr Soumen both were very helpful and caring.
Next time I will visit again.

Roaches, rats inside the room and hallways. Bed bugs eating blood at night. Very heavy construction sight with cranes digging at 6 AM to midnight. Human trafficking going on. Front desk taking passport and visa photos on their personal phones and making fun of official documents. No hot water in the bathroom. Safe doesn’t close, refrigerator doesn’t work, internet doesn’t work, lights doesn’t work, no water bottle and no connection to the front desk. Manager did not come to see the dark and scary hallway even after 10 requests. Extremely unsafe and unsanitary hotel situation for a foreigner.
