Great location, great staff and great facilities

Me and my mum shared a room here and two of our friends stayed in single rooms for a wedding. Cannot recommend this place enough. The location is spot on! The staff couldn’t do enough for you! Charlotte especially was great! She found us a bigger fan to use in our room as it was such a warm day and the room was warm getting ready for the wedding.
Facilities fantastic. Kettle, tea, coffee, fridge, microwave, plates, cutlery and glasses.
Shower was great! Very powerful although quite small.
Comfy beds!
People may complain about the noise outside but where the location is so great it’s what comes with it. 10/10

The best accommodation in derry by far

If this isn't the best accommodation in derry somebody let me know where is. Fantastically located in shipway close to every single amenity you could wish for. The accommodation fantasix the bed was amazing did not hear a sound the whole 3 nights I was there and I was on the bottom floor.but the diamond in the crown was sinead could not do enough for you always had a smile on her face and time for a chat absolutely priceless.keep ul the grwat work guys cannot say enough good things about you

Perfect base for exploring Derry

Stayed four nights with my son. Lovely room including microwave, crockery etc so ideal as a base for exploring Derry and beyond. Great personal service too with good communication by email and phone. Location couldn’t be better - just round the corner from the city walls and Undertones mural, and a couple of minutes down to the Guildhall and bus station (free connection to railway station). Crafts village next door and plenty places to eat and drink on the doorstep. Quite steep climbing street to hotel (better via city walls) and some street noise when windows open, but really not s problem. Already considering a repeat visit so wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Lovely stay for impromptu night stay in dery

Nice clean rooms.
Larger than expected.
Kitchenett with crockery and utensils, large fridge and table and chair for sitting to eat.
Able to adjust heating in rooms by thermostat.
Brilliant location.
Staff very accommodating would have been able to leave baggage at reception in order to make better use of the day before departure.
Would highly recommend.

Terrible would never go back to quay8

Wouldn’t recommend this place if you want a good nights sleep or any sleep for that matter. The noise all night from the street and also the extractor fan just randomly comes on on its own. The blinds in the room wouldn’t come fully down so the sun was blaring through the window right on top of the bed I was sleeping in. At 9am whilst still trying to get some sleep the cleaners decided to have a conversation outside the room and not a quiet one at that when I opened the door to let them know we were trying to sleep the door was closed an 10minutes later they started hovering the room. Absolute disgrace they thought this was acceptable at 9am when check out isn’t until 11. I will definitely never be back to this property first time I’ve ever stayed in Derry and had a bad experience with accommodation.
