Very good location, in the bohemian neighborhood of Camden.

THE GOOD THING: Very good location, just a few metres walk from MORNINGTON CRESCENT tube station (London Underground Northtern Line). There begins the neighborhood of CAMDEN, a very bohemian area. Breakfast is simple but very rich. In the basement there is space not very large but welcoming recreation space for guests.
THE BAD: The bunk beds are three stories, luckily it touched me downstairs, but it must be very uncomfortable for the guest to touch the third level of the bunk bed. Please note that the hostel is above a PUB or BAR, in fact, check-in and check-out are done in the bar itself. This gives it a special touch, but it is probably a bit noisy on weekends.

a good address for optimal stays in London.

I need to go to London regularly to take courses. After a few tries, I found this hostel which is very efficient as soon as we found the right room and understood how to take advantage of the full range of services available. Excellent value for money on the room and breakfast. The hostel also offers food and entertainment services from a slightly discreet pub so not too overloaded. The house is kept to the best of what can be done in an environment where about thirty people enter and leave daily. I am delighted to have found this place because it really makes savings in very good conditions. Otherwise, you have the single room in London which costs between £100 and £200 a night...

Pretty much in the centre of Camden. Pub downstairs and decent sized rooms. Can get noisy outside but that’s London.

The guy working daytime and evening at the reception was really unhelpful and had no service mindness whatsoever. He was clueless about everything and every time I reported a problem he couldn’t help me.
I asked for a room that was quiet but got a room with two broken windows facing the busy trafficked street which obviously was cold because of the broken windows. Nothing he could do about it and nothing they bothered to mention.
The cleaning guy entered my female dorm when I was in the shower and didn’t leave when he heard me. I reported it to the same guy in the reception and he only asked “did he knock?”. I obviously didn’t hear him being in the shower.
Last night two clients visiting the bar that belonged to hostel almost killed a poor hostel guest. I witnessed it and had to talk to the police when they arrived. They had no bouncer there at that time so there was no one there to help the poor guy except me and the staff. Tried to pull the guy off him to save him from being beTed to death. A really scary situation.
