Great communication with the host. Clean and spacious room, including the private bathroom. Hot water; and a communal kitchen with everything you could need. Thank you for everything!

Overall the place is nice and the location is superb! There is a kitchen with pots, pans, and other things you'll need to cook meals. The only negative point was the stovetop, it was very hard to turn on and it goes from "not heating at all" to "super hot that will ruin your food" in a split second. Other than the stovetop, the place is really good. I do recommend you wear earplugs while sleeping because you do hear the other guests, especially when they're in the kitchen at 6 AM.

Great stay in a lovely town. Only recommendation would be to have a few more hooks for hanging things and a couple suitcase stands. Friendly staff. Great pizza next door at the filling station.

It's an acceptable place for staying one night but nothing charming about it. Rooms are clean and beds are very comfortable.
There is one shared kitchen which is too small for all the rooms and was crowded at dinner time. It has a very small dishwasher to leave the dirty dishes in, but in the morning was full and running so all the dishes were laying dirty in the kitchen sink.

Wasn't expecting much but ended up so pleasantly surprised! My elderly parents and I absolutely loved our stay here! One of the best places we stayed in Iceland this trip. The Guesthouse manager (matnus? Sorry I'm not sure how his name is spelt!) was kind enough to help us arrange a last minute change of room as we changed our minds and wanted to upgrade to a bigger room. We stayed at the one bedroom apartment and everything was lovely. Squeaky clean, even for a clean freak like me. The place was well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. I noticed there is a thick layer of cushion over the sofa bed so this was the most comfortable sofa bed I've ever slept on. My parents also said the double bed was very very comfortable. Highly highly recommend this Guesthouse!
