Close to the train station and a short walk everywhere- it was the perfect location for us.
The staff was lovely. Very warm and kind.

The mosquitoes in the room were another issue, so I recommend bringing bug spray. My room was located near the dining room and a busy corridor, where travelers were constantly coming and going, so it was not the quietest stay. There was about 4 or 5 keys to remember their unique purpose as the front office is typically closed.
That said, if you don’t rely on Wi-Fi and prefer a more traditional, old-fashioned atmosphere, this hotel might suit your needs. But for modern conveniences, you may want to consider other options.

The worst part was that they lied about the city tax. Instead of charging 6 euros as specified the city of Florence, they charged me 21 euros. The male owner tried to charge me 41 euros, but I didn't have any cash with me. When I came back with cash, there was a lady and she charged me 21 euros.
