Great stay in Cologne
The Wasserturm Hotel Cologne is a beautiful hotel in a prime location. From arrival to departure we had a great stay at the hotel. The breakfast is delicious and the extremely friendly staff of the whole hotel (Kerem is to be emphasized) put the crown on it. Thank you for the great time with you!

Not a comfortable place. 11 floors 2 tiny lifts one out of order the whole time. No restaurant despite saying so on website. The bar has no comfortable seating nothing to lean on. The view is not amazing either. We had to have some bar food as we couldn’t get out to the town due to a minor injury so could not get a meal at all that night. when we arrived at 10 pm we had to walk quite a distance to McDonald’s to get something! Horrendous place.

Fabulous hotel with fabulous staff!
This place was a unique find and we really enjoyed our stay. It’s a converted water tower apparently one of the biggest in Europe and now has a ground floor reception with separate meeting rooms and lounge area downstairs WC and the restaurant.
It has 11 floors bedrooms on all floors apart from on the 11th floor where there is a 360 *panoramic bar/snack bar where you can take in views of the city all the way around.
The rooms are comfortable well equipped and luxuriously furnished the room we had was on the eighth floor and lovely semi circular windows with a views to the city.
The food in this restaurant was absolutely superb. The restaurant team are very welcoming accommodating and the breakfast buffet was one of the best we’ve ever had in any hotel for choice and quality.
Even catering for special dietary requirements was not a problem, my wife is lactose intolerant so she had to have lactose free milk and in fact did they not only just had thisThey had every other milk you could think of !just superb.
My son has his 22nd birthday over there and they made a fuss of him on the day by bringing him a complimentary bottle of champagne for us to share at breakfast which was a lovely touch.
All of the staff were really friendly really accommodating. Nothing was too much of a problem. We will definitely stay again.

Can only recommend
It was a very short stay at Wasserturm Hotel Cologne, but absolutely lovely! The location, even though I have arrived late at night, made immediate positive impression - the building is marvellous! I appreciate very much that there has been strong effort to keep its history, it is visible at the every step inside. The room was spacious, it has been a nice surprise to have the stairs leading to the bedroom area, and together with the high window it gave very special atmosphere. The bed was very comfortable as well, so you can have a very comfortable rest. Breakfast I would call a standard Hilton one, but with few nice improvements to it. Altogether, absolutely recommend. I hope the next time I arrive early enough to visit the bar on 11th floor, supposedly with stunning views over Cologne and delicious drinks.

It couldn't be better in Cologne
Starting from check in we felt at home. How we're received. Mr Aksu is to be singled out, but the rest of the staff are also incredibly good and very professional. The hotel has its special charm. Meanwhile, we count ourselves as regulars. The breakfast is small but very special and this completes everything. We will come back of course. Thanks to the whole water tower team.
