For one night ok
The hotel has changed its name to Four Hotel.
We had a junior suite, very large but unkindly decorated.
Restaurant/Bar was unfortunately closed.
Breakfast is great !!
Very wide selection and everything fresh.
The sauna area can be given as a gift, small sauna. Steam bath out of order, change baths broken.
Generally not very clean.
Near airport is top. Parking spaces available.

Es tut uns leid, dass Ihr Aufenthalt bei uns, nicht vollkommen Ihren Erwartungen entsprochen hat. Wir arbeiten seit der Betriebsübernahme bereits an Umgestaltungsplänen, was somit auch die Zimmer betrifft.
Wir haben die Saunaanlage und die Gerätschaften von unserm Techniker prüfen lassen, der keinen Defekt feststellen konnte. Vermutlich kam es hier eher zu einer falschen Inbetriebnahme durch unsere Mitarbeiter. Dafür möchten wir uns ausdrücklich entschuldigen und Ihnen versichern, dass wir dahingehend noch einmal das gesamte Personal schulen werden.
Wir würden uns freuen, wenn wir Sie davon bei Ihrem nächsten Besuch in Ratingen bereits überzeugen können.

this hotel dosen't deserve 4 star : maybe 2
room not very clean, we had torn pillowcase, the bath towel and sheets smelled very bad (cigarette), empty bottle of shampoo and body wash in the bathroom and we had to wate about 40 minutes to get one. Fisrt the receptionnist told us that he dosen't have any and that we have to wait until tomorrow morning. We ferused this option and insisted to have shampoo for hair. And he gave us one after 40 minutes. Breakfast room : no place to sit, tables not cleared, and when cleared, they were not cleaned. Several items were missing such as the, bread, etc and for each item we had to ask somebody and to wait until, he brings the missing item

Was die Situation beim Frühstück vielleicht erklärt ist, dass es leider zu kurzfristigem Personalausfall kam, den wir so schnell nicht auffangen konnten. Dennoch sollte das nicht so sein und ist auch nicht das Problem unserer Gäste. Vielleicht erklärt das aber ein wenig die Situation.

Accomplished stay friendly staff
The hotel was location was found with ease, staff was friendly on arrival spoke in good English, we were made comfortable on are stay also had are friends for breakfast one morning. It was nice clean room with a lot to do in area with shopping available near and Christmas market.

Very nice hotel, incredible value for money and breakfast included. Only complaint really I was in room 301 which was near the elevator which I could hear late at night and early morning. I did not bother asking to change rooms as I was tired and there for just one night. Would happily stay again.

Very cold
The hotel presents itself without writing on the outside therefore difficult to find, at the reception inadequate staff, the room large and beautiful but with 17 degrees and despite our complaints nothing has changed in the two days I was there, I warmed it with the hairdryer, the second night all the cards to open the doors did not work and the two subjects at the reception panicked to the point of giving the key to another room to me and a lady, I ask for a drink to take a pill and I am told that the refrigerator is closed when a minute earlier had given a bottle to another customer, while I make my representations the guy if he goes while I speak.
Definitely not going back.

Ci dispiace molto che il suo soggiorno presso di noi non abbia soddisfatto le sue aspettative o i nostri standard.
La reazione incompetente del personale della reception si spiega forse con il cambio di nome. Tuttavia, questo non giustifica il fatto che non vi sia stato offerto un servizio migliore.
Stiamo lavorando a stretto contatto con tutti i reparti per poter offrire ai nostri ospiti un soggiorno meraviglioso anche in futuro.
Saremo lieti di convincervi di ciò durante la vostra prossima visita a Ratingen.
