The style of the hotel including the rooms is over the top and some people will not be comfortable there. It is newly renovated, but if you look closely at the ceiling and uncovered parts of the decor you see it looks unfinished. Maybe that was the intent, but I'm not so sure.
The employees we met the next morning were friendly, but there was no mention or apology for the check-in which I found extra disappointing.
