Perfect Getaway!

My sister and I did the overnight package and loved every minute! The staff were all friendly and welcoming, the room was comfortable and clean and the grounds and services available were amazing! We had massages and spent time in the thermal pools. There is a river that runs along the back of the building's and it’s so peaceful and beautiful! There are hammocks and seating with winding path down to the river. We felt rejuvenated, relaxed and would definitely return! A perfect little getaway!

Relaxing overnight stay

My husband and I had a wonderful overnight stay. We stayed in the Le Refuge Riverain, a quaint and cozy little cottage with an amazing view or the river. The grounds are extremely beautiful especially with the leaves starting to change colour. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. It was a very relaxing stay in a beautiful natural setting. I would highly recommend..

This feels like a bait and switch. The breakfast was not a meal but rather yogurt and granola bars with ingredients that I couldn't eat. You also do not have use of the hot tub despite being mentioned as an amenity. This is a lovely property, but I did not receive the services that I expected for the rate. I specifically chose this property for use of the hot tub and did not receive the service I expected.

I do not recommend

Small intimate spa and country, so far it's okay!
Hard to relax when all the other guests talk and laugh loudly, no warning to turn down the sound by the employees! Employees talk to each other by means of “walki-talki” it is quite disturbing!
Lack of cleanliness in some places..cloth/hair bath mat as at home, not very hygienic! We had received access to the baths as gifts, I will not go back and I will not recommend it to my relatives either!

Very bad experience!

The spa is really not up to it... we asked for a refund after trying the spa, whirlpool without jets and with a sweeper that hung out at the bottom. Access to the spa is borderline safe and access to the river, downright dangerous.
The owner refused to refund us, saying that he was being threatened. He told us that we paid for what was there and that

J'aurais aimé lire que vous avez aimé votre journée à notre spa! Nous sommes sincèrement désolés si votre expérience n'a pas été à la hauteur. Oui la rivière est en contrebas, c'est escarpé mais nous avons travaillé le chemin avec ce que la nature nous a donné et il est bien indiqué de faire attention, que vous êtes en nature.
Nous avons un grand bassin chaud en eaux calmes et un plus petit avec une cascade dans lequel oui il y a des sorties d'eau mais c'est pour la recirculation de l'eau. Nous avons 2 saunas secs, une salle d'aromathérapie, un bain nordique et un bain vapeur à l'eucalyptus.
Il y en a pour tous les goûts. Notre spa est intime et tranquille.
Nous sommes sincèrement désolés encore une fois!
