Enjoy your stay

Nice guest house with a very warm welcome from the lady very comfortable room with shower TV in the room towels gel shower and small bottle of water always available appreciable these small attentions reasonable Award with breakfast included nice owners place close to the royal palace (6 minutes approx) and especially quiet place with free parking right next door we recommend

The most horrible experience we have ever had! Rude people!

The last years we've travelled to many countries and had many different kind of accomodation. But this one; IT WAS HORRIBLE to the point. To start; the place is somewhere in a village far from the centre. We were looking for an hour -with gps- for the place and finally a couple of very kind locals brought us to the door, driving behind their car! We've arrived around 12 oclock in the night (earlier we've tried to call the place to tell them we arrive later, but no one picked the calls)! So, The front door was open. (The place has a very cute typical french garden). We've ranged on the door. No one answered. We have tried again and went to the garden. After about 30 mins an old woman - I assume the mother of the manager who lives in the place- came angry outside, yelling from the first second in french. Giving us even no chance to show our reservation papers, coming down from the stairs, pointing to our little dog. And taking the string of our dog pushing him to the door (How rude you can be?) And abviously she couldn't understand ONE word of English. While my daughter tried despite the agressive behaviour of her to keep her calm (she has a strong sympathy for old woman and felt guilty we had to wake her up). But instead she slapped hardy on my daughters hand!!!!! I was shocked!!!!! My husband and me stressed out by this situation the kids trying to control the situation. But the woman was just too unreasonable and communication in a normal civilized way was impossible. Finally another younger woman (her daughter) came down to the garden (after one hour!!!) She was calmer and we tried to explain her that we had a booking. However she couldn't speak english at all too. She trying to read our paper the old woman come crying inbetween trying to provocate and manipulate her daughter. We were so tired after sitting for12 hours in the car and trafic from Italy to there. Just wanted a couple of hours of sleep and leave early in the morning to our country (Netherland). But they just trwating their guest in such a inhuman and unsympathiek way! The younger woman (Nathalie) provoced by her mother telling us we can't stay with the dog there. (while booking there was nothing mentioned about the dog). I said yes, as long as my kids can sleep a couple of hours we try to arrange something for the dog. But it had evantually become a personal matter for the old woman (that with all my respect seemed to be a little crazy). So she wanted to kick us out. Inbetween it was 2:30 in the morning caused partly by lack of communication!!! Me and my husband so sad decided to call the police. Inbetween they had called another man who arrived and also not speaking english without giving us the chance to speak told us we had to leave the place, touched me in a agressive way on my shoulder pointing the door (is this the way they treat woman ther?)
The police came and tried to understand the situation told us to come the office in the morning to make the proces official! Which we of course did. After my blood pressue felt down and they recommend us to go the Hospital! I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy! Happily we had great two weeks of holiday with great people around us which makes this painful closure easier to forget!

Great place, excellent service

I've just spent one night there, it is a great place, very friendly and very good service.
The owner is very friendly and helpful, willing to give the best service.
The place is quiet, very well located if you go and join the show at the Royal Palace in Kirrwiler.
Definitely an excellent place, I hope I have a chance to go again, it must be great in summer too !

Excellent séjour

Très bon séjour. Endroit charmant et d'une propreté irréprochable. La literie est très bien. Accueil très sympathique. Maison authentique. Le petit déjeuner était parfait. Nous y retournerons avec plaisir.

Inacceptable

Un avis très médiocre concernant cette maison d'hôte. Réservée au Moselle de décembre 2017 pour une nuit au Mois de mai,nous avons rappelé le mardi avant notre arrivée afin de confirmer notre venue. Qu'elle n'à pas été notre surprise quand le propriétaire nous a annoncé qu'il ne pouvait pas nous recevoir car il faisait des travaux. Je trouve cela inadmissible. Imaginez nous avions fait 250 kilomètres pour nous rendre au royal palace
Si nous n'avions pas appelé, nous aurions trouvé porte close. Je trouve cela inacceptable. Monsieur, je vous informe quand même que j'étais avec mes parents de 81 et 76 ans. Vous avez trouvé un plan B dans un hôtel qui à mon avis n'a ouvert que pour nous le jeudi 17 mai. La personne qui nous a reçu était tres loin d'être avenante.
Monsieur, la prochaine fois que vous souhaitez louer à des clients, vérifiez votre planning et si vous ne pouvez honorer vos réservations, la moindre des politesses c'est de prévenir vos futurs hôtes.
