CHECK-INN HOTEL A MISTAKE TO STAY FROM MY PERSONAL EXPERIENCE
This was by far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The staff at the reception were completely non-empathetic and often unavailable, leaving guests frustrated. The hotel has no lift, making it extremely inconvenient if you have luggage or mobility issues. The rooms and bathrooms are tiny and cramped, and there’s no lounge or common area to relax in.
On top of that, they have an unreasonable $100 deposit policy, which they only refund after one month on credit cards and a shocking two months on debit cards. The number of rules they impose makes the stay unnecessarily stressful and unpleasant.
The only advantage of this hotel is its proximity to the MRT station, but honestly, it’s not worth the hassle. If the hotel at least had a lounge with a seating capacity of 4 and a lift, we might have been able to adjust to all the other inconveniences.
Instead, I recommend walking just 100 meters to another nearby hotel, which is vastly superior. (This isn’t a promotion for Dash Living Rochor, but the comparison highlights how poorly this hotel fares.) That hotel has a large lounge and dining area, where guests arriving early can rest or have breakfast. They also offer early check-in if a room is available, for just $15 per hour, which is very reasonable. In contrast, this hotel charges a ridiculous $30 per hour for their tiny, amenity-less rooms.
The other hotel also provides free washing machines and dryers, and the rooms are spacious, with no unnecessary rules. They’ve thoughtfully included neatly maintained bathrooms near the lounge, catering to men, women, and the handicapped. Despite offering so much more, their prices are lower than this hotel, though booking early is necessary. Unfortunately, we could only secure one day there due to last-minute availability.
If you want a comfortable and pleasant stay, do yourself a favor and walk 100 meters from this place to hotel (Dash Living Rochor) to avoid this nightmare. You’ll thank yourself later!
