Great location, staff and room

It was one of the best hostel stays. We were in an independent room and stayed 4 nights.
Many positives about the place. It is very well located in Centro and within walking distance. The room size and comfort was great. The facilities and crowd were international and friendly. Breakfast tasty and value for money.
The best part was the staff. Friendly, cheerful, informative. A great hostel

Total disrespect

The worst hostel Ive ever been to. Ive traveled many places in the world, and I’ve NEVER been yelled to in a hostel or hotel. In this hostel they dont tell their workers we are GUESTS, we are paying for the service and that we should be treated with kindness and always listen. The person that stays at night is an ‘old’ man super rude, who has an angry look in his face and doesnt make you feel welcome. on whatsapp? When i made the complaint ofc they said ‘sorry’ but then what? Nothing. They didnt even tried to do something to remend the situation. They keep trying to be on their worker side, saying he is old and don’t understand things. But well, he is working right? So he is a total capable man.
It was my first vacation in Latin America, i was expecting a lot from the hostel, but i didnt event stay much there, so i didnt give them ANY kind of trouble. I was always nice, polite and did my best to keep myself organized. Booked a 15d private room, but even if was in a 8 beds shared room, it is no excuse to treat anyone like they treated me. And i direct this to the hostel and not to the person, because they have to tell their workers how they should treat their guests. It was an humiliation to be alone in a foreign country and suddenly late at night have man yelling at you in a place i paid more than my rent to be. I feel terrible.

Okay stay in the heart of Argentina

Overall, this was a cool hostel in the heart of Buenos Aires. Closer to the Puerto Madero side of the city, this location was just okay for me. Near lots of restaurants, it wasn't hard to find food, and during the day, the area was safe and nice to walk around, but overall, as a young person, I wish I had stayed in Palermo which was undoubtedly where the bar seen was at.
As for the hostel itself, it was an okay hostel. I had my jacket stolen/mistakenly taken (perhaps) on the first day, so my memory of the hostel is a skewed a bit in the negative unfortunately, That aside, the hostel had many activities to sign up for, so getting out of the hostel wasn't difficult. Also, I found that the people there were incredibly social, and I even befriended one guy who I ended up crossing paths with again in Ushuaia.
The hostel bar/cafe was really bad; the drinks were not mixed well, and the food was subpar, below fast food standards even. The Wi-Fi was decent though, and the hot water in the bathrooms was exactly that - hot. The cleanliness of the place could have been better, particularly the bathrooms which had a tendency to get wet and stay wet. However, if I had the chance, and if this hostel had a branch in Palermo, I would stay again.

Hi! Thank you for your valuable feedback. Your comments helps us to improve.
We really like our location! From here you can get anywhere in the city very easy only by walking, taking a bus or the subway. Palermo is only 20 minutes away in a taxi if you wanna get there for the party, but Recoleta and San Telmo both have really good night life and are closer too. If you need recommendations our friendly staff is always available for that!
About the jacket, you have to understand that when you book a bed in a dorm you are sharing with other people and you always have some risks, that is out of our control. From our part, we have security 24 hs in the door and no one that is not a guest can come in.
We are sorry that you didnt reach your expectations about the bar/restaurant. Our staff is super well trained and we are really proud of our drinks and food, and there is always a lot of good feedback about it too.
We find really weird your comment about the cleaning! Our housekeeping team clean the bathrooms 3 times a day. In anycase, next time please dont hesitate to come to reception if there is something wrong, we'll fix it right away :)
Above all, we are glad you had a good time and we hope to have you stay with us again soon!

Best hostel in BA

This hostel is amazing. The staff are very friendly, always smiling, and very knowledgeable about the city of BA and beyond. The whole place is clean, rooms are decent, bar offers good prices and the food is worth it too. I’ll be coming back here next hear(from Europe), such is the great impression made.

Party Hostel

The rooms are really big and mine (8-bed girls) had two bathrooms!!! Even with all the luggage we had space to walk around. Everything is really clean and you feel comfortable. Food and drinks in the hostel are really cheap & good! That's what I liked most about it. Normally the prices for drinks and food are insane. It's easy to meet new people and the atmosphere in the evenings is good.
The staff is nice and the hostel is in the city center. I would definitely come again!
