Well Priced

Stayed here for one night after a long camping trip. Good parking for the Ute & camper trailer (very secure).
Room was dated but clean & very well priced.
Buffet at the Restaurant was delicious, it was packed with diners.
Enjoyed our one night!

Northwest Motel

This is a great spot for a short stop or for a few days to explore the area for families or business travellers. Whilst rooms are a little dated they are very clean and comfortable. There is a small pool with patio area to enjoy a cold drink while watching the kids play. Bar and restaurant also very reasonably priced and food was fresh and tasty.

Not a great experience for us

We stayed here for 1 night on the way through heading south. The location is convenient and offers a secure spot behind electric gate. We were put in room (1) but would suggest this room is currently not fit for purpose based on our experience. The bathroom was good ( shower was very good), nice and clean and towels etc good. The bed was ok and the room a good size.
The carpet could also do with replacement and it was disconcerting to see mouse droppings on the cupboard next to the microwave and a large mouse trap on the floor.
The airconditioner is a wall mount model that came out of the ark and very noisy, needs to be replaced with a modern, quite split unit ! We couldnt leave the window open at night because it was also difficult to open (needs replacing) and the room is on the edge of a noisy street at night.
We asked the person at reception if we could have a pedestal fan to move some air but we never saw the fan..yes we could have chased it up again but shouldnt have had to. We also asked if we could move to another room closeby to save moving too far but another room offered was some distance away and we had a fair amount of gear to move. Room (1) should not have been offered in the first place.
We ate in the restaurant and had the hot rock buffet..the food was good and the staff were friendly and helpful.

No information given at check in, we only found the food sheet for ordering breakfast lunch etc this morning when packing up. Room clean but very dated with stains on carpet and bedding, lights not working properly, air con remote not working, sharp piece sticking out on one of the chairs. On the plus side the bed was comfortable and a lovely hot shower. Plenty of tea and coffee and milk and really appreciated the bottled water. Overall would stay again

Good comfy rooms

The motel was quiet during the night
Comfortable room and beds
All the usual amenities.
I really liked the secure parking, gates locked at 8.30 each night.
Not far from town with restaurants and pubs for casual dining. Plus there is a swimming pool which will be useful in summer.
