Miramonti, Comano

Pleasant stay in a slightly dated hotel but in my opinion the positive note
Swimming pool in a beautiful location overlooking the Apuan Alps
Added value the owners always kind and helpful
Also the really good dinner, the Chef and Owner very good
Excellent value for money

To avoid, set a price then play up believe play poker.

Bad, to avoid like the plague, if I could have put zero I would have done it, after the Reservation made on booking, so with the price not made by me, that slob of the owner sends me a message writing: "With the price we are not" even ABC of education. After phoning the facility I am asked for an extra 80 euros, poor deluded trying to do business on the naivety of people. Luckily Booking, after listening to what happened replaced the structure.

Avoid going there

Small, "normally" clean room overlooking the road (room 5), nice exterior (terrace and pool)
Running away from the restaurant. Antipasti della casa: slices of vacuum-wrapped cold cuts and 2 pieces of melon, tortelli soaked with water and tasteless sauce. At breakfast: undrinkable cappuccino and coffee and the rest at your convenience.
Boss yelling at the boss in front of customers...
Finally an error of 30€ in the Rating, expensive for services
No room elsewhere because weekend of August 15 too bad for us

Warm and exotic

This hotel restaurant has a crazy charm in a remote village in Tuscany perfect for a quiet and relaxed stay. The owners and staff in general are charming and friendly. It feels like home.. they were very accommodating for our dog. The pool has stunning views of the mountains..many hikes to do and other activities and proximity to the Cinque Terre. We stayed there 4 nights and keep a beautiful memory..The cuisine is good and typical. I recommend. We will return without hesitation if we return to the area.

Cute hosts but no internet

We ended up at the hotel because our car had broken and we had to stay in until it could get to the workshop. The hotel is beautifully located in the mountains with stunning views and with a nice pool. There is a restaurant in the hotel also with good food, and the breakfast is also ok. We got a nice room with beds for all of us, though without aircon but with a fridge so we could keep drinks cold. The hotel offers free WiFi, but it was so bad that it could hardly be used. But we had absolutely no 3G, 4G or 5G on the whole mountain. So we couldn't call out, which was a really stupid situation as we needed to arrange a lot with the car going to the workshop. Only when we came down from the mountain again 2 days later we had coverage again. We spoke with our telephone company who told us that the mountain was a “dead-zone”, completely without coverage. We'd like to know that. We also had to work a little (we had to because we were late on our way home due to the car.) It was not at all possible due to the poor internet and poor wifi. The day before we had to check out we agreed with the hosts that we would check out ml at 7 and 7.30 as we were to be at the workshop at 8. But when we met up at the reception almost morning at 7:15, the hosts still slept. Until we apparently made so much noise that one of them stood up and whispered at us after which we were allowed to check out - though in complete silence and without worthy of a glance. A little weird behavior from a professional host. The stay saved us from a stupid situation and being kids were grateful for the pool but we won't come back.
