Great one night stay!

We stayed here for one night after returning from the Cinque Terra coast for our flight home. Great find, so happy with this B&B! We arrived around 9pm, communicating with the staff by email to let them know our arrival time. It’s an easy walk from the train station, and they recommended a great pizza place down the street for dinner. The room was comfy and clean, the aircon worked great. We didn’t have breakfast but we had tea, coffee and water in the room, and also a fridge should you need one. Would recommend for a airport hotel for sure, it was a super easy walk to the airport in the morning, all on regular pedestrian pavements, less than 10 min! Thank-you for a stress free stay!

disappointing

Now I understand more and more the hoteliers who are on a rampage and I am sorry to have contributed in this degrading process with my Reservation in this structure dictated only by logistics and the little time available for a departure from Pisa.
I won't add anything else and I hope the photos speak for me, but you can't take advantage of people's good faith for too long.
There will come a day when there will be little to eat and someone will go hungry.

Experience not to be repeated

After being "deceived" by the excellent reviews about the structure, we went to spend the night, we were welcomed in our pajamas (at 7.00 pm) and the sheets were handed to us. When we got to the room, we uncovered the bed and found dirty and torn sheets. Very poor cleaning and no breakfast despite a very high price, requested in cash.

Just what we wanted

Villa Matilde was just what we hoped it would be, Our hosts were friendly and helpful. The room was clean and roomy. The location was perfect...less than a 15 minute walk to the train station. We were only looking for a place to sleep during our stay and that is what we got. We got a quiet, safe and peaceful nights sleep both nights of our stay.

A Welcome Stay

I recommend Villa Matilda. The host puts effort into creating a positive experience for his guests. He demonstrated such kindness by going out of his way to help me. It's a bonus that it's nearby Pizzeria La Paradisea.
