Beautiful stay

We went to the Hotel Gaggiano from 26/10/24 to 29/10/24 on a pilgrimage with a group of 91 people.
It was a wonderful stay. The hotel is very clean and the food is excellent.
The hotel is close to Padre Pio Sanctuary.
Antonio, Raffaella as well as the restaurant staff and the women in charge are always attentive, very kind and available to guests
Thank you all for a great stay.
We will definitely go back.

The only positive note is the proximity to the Sanctuary. Very dated rooms, dirty corners, blacks. Bathroom with bad fouling.
Non-existent air conditioning, fake. We died of heat. The TV is out of date, has the old telesystem, practically useless.
Worse the restaurant, has a full menu at 23 euros. We had a plate of vegetables, two first courses, a portion of fruit. Nothing on the bill dinner we paid 46 euros. I pointed it out to the Owner but the Response was that the bill for the dishes ordered was that. Then they could honestly tell us that it was better if we ordered the whole menu! Banal and ordinary breakfast. The only positive note is the kindness of the waiters, really appreciated in such a sad environment. Obviously the hotel was empty on a Sunday....
Bad, avoid, read, reflect, on the same street are all hotels!

Pilgrimage to Padre PIO

I stayed at this hotel this weekend, I had never been there before. The first impression upon entering was very good due to the welcome and kindness of the staff. At the table we were very satisfied with the excellent quality of the food and how it was presented. The owner, Mrs. Lucia, is truly a rarity for her kindness, hospitality and friendliness. I will definitely come back.

A few steps from the Sanctuary of San Pio, in Viale Cappuccini 144

As soon as you enter, you can already perceive an atmosphere of peace and serenity: the welcome at the reception confirms the initial impression, also supported by the kindness of all the staff. The cleanliness and management of the rooms are excellent. We recommend trying the typical dishes of the place, cooked and presented impeccably by the chef. The value for money is certainly unparalleled: from the first time we always return without fail and we highly recommend it. There are many possible excursions both towards the sea and towards neighboring places, such as Foresta Umbra, Monte Sant'Angelo, etc...

Family-run hotel very near the Sanctuary of San Giovanni Rotondo (Padre Pio).

We travelled as part of 40 strong Irish group visiting San Giovanni Rotondo to commemorate the 50th anniversary of the death of Saint Pio of Pietrelcina / 100th anniversary of his receiving the Stigmata. We stayed 4 nights in this family run hotel. The accommodation was good with rooms en-suite -not too large but plenty of hot water for showers. The meals were 3 course -not too varied in composition but satisfied our appetites. Some of our party were not happy with the meals served! My wife and I liked the hotel and were overall content with the whole ambience -not luxury but good basic hospitality.
