Great stay at marvellous price!

Sotetsu Fresa Inn Tokyo-Kamata is conveniently located mere minutes walk from JR Kamata station, and is an ideal spot getting to and from Haneda airport, albeit somewhere in the red light district of Kamata too, but there are lots of eateries, combini, and supermarkets in the vicinity, as well as a Don Quijote. The hotel is not located along the main road, but inside one of the alleys, that said, it is not difficult to locate.
The hotel itself has a spacious lobby, which provides plenty of amenities such as tooth brush, razor, bath powder, coffee and tea, rather than providing them in-room. The hotel also have vending machines, ice makers, and coin laundry. Breakfast (at level 2) is nice.
In room, the bath tub is big, there's a powerful and warm bidet, and most importantly, cosy bed.
There is an airport bus to Haneda airport which takes about 20 minutes, depending which terminal you are heading.
I'm quite satisfied with my stay, though pity it's ending its business on 16 Jul 2023.

The building will be demolished due to its aging building. It is too bad that location was excellent near bu JR Kamata station.

The hotel looks really nice on the outside but the room stunk (cigarette smell and old). The pictures sure looks deceiving. We found some hair in the bathroom and bed and the robes that were provided were dirty. The room is pretty old and you cannot control the temp in your room. Good thing we only stayed there for 1 night. It’s also not as close to haneda airport as the info had said. That being said, the room is a little more spacious compare to some hotels we’ve stayed at. It is close to the train station thought.

Stayed 2 nights at Sotetsu Fresa Inn Kamata. Excellent hotel and a great price. Great location close to JR Kamata Station. Many restaurants around. Very modern with kiosk check-in. Room was small but clean and functional. Also great amenities available in lobby. I opted for the breakfast buffet which was a great deal. Many choices that appeal to both Japanese and Western taste. Well worth the price. I will stay here again.
