We stay 5 days in this property, people in here are great, scenery in here are perfect, but infrastructure in here long way deviate our expectations. no wifi in room, you can capture signal out of door only, too weak to connect inside. hot water supply is limit, due to the water heat machine are too small. no hair dryer. breakfast have 4 choice: garlic steamed rice+pork, rice+beef, rice+sausage, sandwich, tase not so good, it make us crazy. public transport tools can’t be there(up on mountain), need hotel shuttle bus pick up you at McDonald(besides roads), we wait 30mins once. 1/5 lost electricity supply,1/5 lost water supply.

Do not go there

Bottom line - don’t stay there!
Upon arrival at the property, I discovered that the hotel was not as described on Booking.com and was not in a condition to accommodate guests. It was a hostel under construction!
I like to mention that google reviews describe the same problems 10 months ago.
The following issues were observed:
Construction and Unusable Public Areas: All public areas were under construction and inaccessible, significantly impacting the overall usability of the property.
Misrepresentation of Facilities: The condition of the property did not match the description on the website. It was poorly organized and appeared unready to host guests.
No working WiFi
Reception Issues: The person at the reception desk was not affiliated with the booked property but worked for a neighboring establishment.
I immediately raised my concerns with the receptionist, explaining that the state of the property was unacceptable. She acknowledged the situation and assured me she would contact her team to request a cancellation and refund through Booking.com. However, no action was taken, and the property has since refused to process the refund.
I have attached photographs taken during my visit, clearly showing the property’s unready state. I have also included correspondence supporting my claim.

The feeling that you hated it because you needed to walk up to the mountain to get to your hotel

The Location is honestly unreachable, you need a good car to get up there, no tryccicle will bring up there because it literally up in the mountain, the price is way too expensive for view and the accommodation is not normal, toilet dirty, very little water coming out of the shower and the faucet, no proper draining system cos the toilet floor is flooding, you practically get stuck there so you need to rent their motor bike that cost 700.- per day. I will never go back there anymore, food by the way is also made without effort… but you can try by yourself too see what I mean. The only nice things there is the view from the balcony that has only one wooden chair and the staff are kind, but if you don’t tell them to make up your room, they will not also do it

Totally misrepresented - AVOID

This place is absolutely terrible and should be avoided at all cost. The pictures on their website are completely inaccurate. While the front desk service was fantastic, the views are amazing and the food was surprisingly good, the facilities are absolutely terrible. This isn't an exhaustive list, just the things that immediately come to mind:
- no power in the evening the first 2 days, this wasn't an area brown out, this was just this hotel
- no water in the morning if the 3rd day
- no water pressure during entire stay - would take 30 mins to fill the toilet after a flush
- can't flush toilet at night because while the was very little water volume, there was a lot of air pressure in the lines so toilet would blast air/water for 30 minute sounding like a drum
- bathroom drain not at low point so the bathroom was a swamp that constantly had standing water
- no mattress pad, just a thin sheet on the mattress ... you can see the mattress name through the sheet
- garbage furniture on the deck, an old moldy white plastic chair and 2 beaten wooden stools
- curtain rod that narrower than the window (facing the sun) which means the sun beats through window and overwhelms ac during the day and makes the room MISERABLE with no power
- the kitchen they show on their website isn't open
- the pool they show on their web site isn't open
- the access to the room is down a temporary rickety set of temporary wood "stairs" with no hand rail then you actually climb over the side rail of the balcony (not making this up, see pictures)
- main deck/bar area furniture looks beautiful but it's miserably uncomfortable, the swinging couch was the ONLY comfortable piece of future
- the "co-working" space had unusable internet (front desk had me try 4 different routers, then gave me their office router which barely worked) and when the ac came on, would literally black out the lights in the "office" for 5-10 secs
This place is absolutely terrible and I felt very sorry for the kind staff who I watched deal with irate customer after irate customer. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COST.

3rd rate with 1st rate prices.

89 Villas are a bunch of rooms tagged onto a hostel with the exception of being extremely expensive in comparison to other high end hotels in El Nido.
Over priced for what you get, 3rd rate hotel with first rate prices.
We stayed in Dec 23 and chose this hotel because the rooms could accommodate 3 adults. At the time of arrival there were no reviews on booking.com or on TripAdvisor so we took a gamble, one that really didn’t pay off.
As I said earlier, this is a hostel and all the communal facilities are shared with backpackers.
The room included breakfast but this doesn’t include drinks, which are very expensive (£3:14 for a very small latte) with approximately 20% of the breakfast menu unavailable at any one time. The food is average at best.
The staff are friendly and helpful and the views are stunning from the shared bar area.
The pool and spa haven’t been finished and not available, the air on in the room is ineffective through the day as the voltage seems to fluctuate and doesn’t allow the room to cool.
We had to ask to have our room cleaned and we also had to ask separately to have the towels changed, this wasn’t done as a matter course.
The drain in the bathroom is above the floor height so water doesn’t drain and you’re left with 1/2 inch of water on the floor and a damp smell. One day we returned to the room to find brown water coming out of the taps (this had sorted itself by the morning) but meant that we could shower that night.
There is a free taxi to the bottom of the hill as it’s way too steep to actually walk up. It’s that steep that one night there was 4 of us in the taxi and it had to make 2 runs as it wouldn’t have made it up the hill with all of us in the car at once.
This is an average hotel with several issues but advertises itself as a top class hotel and charges top class prices.
