Perfect location

We’ve just returned from our trip to Krakow and this hotel was so lovely! It’s in the perfect location with only a 5 minute walk into Krakow Old Town and also has easy transport links just outside the hotel including the trams. Our room was basic but exactly what we needed for our stay, always kept really clean! The hotel as a whole was really clean too, not a spec of dust anywhere. Breakfast was included in our stay which was lovely, really nice to have the polish cuisine for breakfast but they also provided toast & cereals etc too. All the staff that we met were so welcoming and friendly, they especially appreciated us learning a little polish to say thank you & good morning! Even though there are trams right outside the hotel, we did not hear a thing during the night and was lovely and quiet! Beds super comfy too. Overall, a really lovely stay!

Pound for pound excellent value

Stay was perfect at this hotel. Spotlessly clean, spacious, comfortable room. Tea, coffee, wifi, fridge and the strongest shower ever. We had room 101 - its at the back of the hotel so very quiet, the other advantage was not too many steps up. Breakfast was fine and plenty of it. Reception staff friendly and professional. The hotel is near the main square and the trams pass right by - as I mentioned earlier it is best to request a room at the back of the hotel. Fridge and free wifi -bonus. The tv in the room is set up to use for netflix, prime etc but I think there was BBC news (we didnt use the tv). I was very surprised at the quality of this hotel for what we paid.

Don’t waste your money it’s AWFUL

Don’t waste your money, I’m not a hotel snob and have stayed in 2 star hotels better than this. This can’t even be called a hotel there is absolutely no facilities apart from the small box room you’re put in which had a putrid smell of drainage! Worth mentioning there’s also no bar at this hotel! The staff are also SO unapproachable on reception. The breakfast is absolutely vile, there was no working toaster for the whole 4 days we spent there even though complaints had been made prior to our visit! So unless you want bread and scrambled eggs swimming in slime I would stay well clear! It’s the first hotel in 30 years of holidays I have hated every minute of. Location is ok but you can get hotels in krakow that are amazing compared to this “hotel” for the same price and closer to the square!!

Rude staff members

I really hate to leave a review like this since my partner and I made the most of our lovely trip. However upon arriving at the hotel, everything seemed fine—the location was great, and the room, though small, was perfect for us and had everything we needed. However, after one of our long day trips, we were very tired and slept in until noon, leaving the hotel around 1 PM. When we returned, our room was unclean. This didn’t bother us too much as we had enough toilet roll, but we needed clean towels for the morning. When my partner asked the receptionist for towels, he was scolded and told, “If the room hasn’t been cleaned, you don’t get any towels,” and was shown to a vacant room to grab towels from he felt embarrassed and appalled.
We didn’t complain and made sure to leave early the next day so the cleaners had more time.
After staying for three nights, we noticed the air conditioning remote was missing. In a panic, we thought we might have packed it, so we checked with the receptionist. She told us it was taken because it was “winter”but we already had it for majority of our trip?
The room got very stuffy at night, the only time we would use it was for cold air. We were told to call reception to control the air conditioning, which made no sense calling at 2am to ask for the remote to the air conditioning in our room?
When we asked for the remote, she spoke over my partner and said, “Just let me know” while we were letting her know there and then that we wanted it back, we were so baffled.
While we tried not to let this ruin our experience, we had to keep the window open at night. I don’t know if it’s a staffing issue but the behaviour of these staff members needs reviewed to avoid making other guests feel like this.
