A clean hotel in Sarria, starting point of the minimum-distance camino. I slept well and comfortably there.

Very low value for the money.

Mal. We took the hotel for the night of December 24. We paid 94 euros, because it was Christmas.
The room doesn't deserve them. Any hostel offers the same services at half price. The window overlooked a solar panel. The restaurant was closed. The receptionist didn't know where to eat. Breakfast, in the afternoon we were told that it would be at 8 in the morning, but at the time of truth we were told that at 9 and we could not do it, because of the number of kilometers we had ahead.
We had paid 30 euros for breakfast. We were told that returning the money was not possible. They told us they were offering us a takeaway coffee. The money, they couldn't pay it back.
Kn example of poor customer service.
The hotel offers little value and service. Misleading information. I wouldn't recommend it and I won't be back again.

It is good to start the Camino a Santiago. The staff friendly and helpful. The hotel
Is too expensive for what it is. The room was. Not very clean.
It is an old hotel. I think there are better options over summer but it was good for the lack of hotels on winter tima

Good hotel with a nice bar and restaurant too

This was a very nice hotel to stay in with exceptional service from the desk manager. I was walking the Camino and getting my luggage transferred with a company. Unfortunately there was a mix up and my luggage was sent elsewhere. The desk manager was extremely helpful in this stressful situation and helped solve the problem.

Lovely hotel

Stayed here on our Camino journey. Nice clean room, comfortable beds, piping hot water…..all one needs after a days walking. It was vey wet on the evening we stayed so we decided to eat in the bar/ restaurant. Surprisingly none of the wait staff had any English so with our limited Spanish it took a while to order some food. Service was charming but a bit haphazard in that our main courses were delivered before our starters. Food however was quite tasty and very inexpensive. Breakfast on the following morning was really busy but on this occasion the wait staff spoke excellent English. Good selection of cereals, fresh juices, bacon/ eggs and cold meats. Very tasty. Much of the crowd staying were walking on the Camino. Great stop on the journey.
