Nice spa hotel

Cozy hotel with a good location just outside central Gothenburg. Nice spa with several different types of treatments. As for food, you can eat in their bar or restaurant Inez o Ernst. We chose to eat at Inez. The food was good, took the catch of the day which was Långa. The hot dish arrived quickly and was very good, but then we were completely forgotten. When we waited 35 minutes for our waiter to notice that we had finished eating our main course and offer dessert, we gave up. She walked past our table several times without paying attention to us, finally we asked to get the bill from another waiter. We had table 1045. Perhaps you should take this further as you missed a lot of additional sales due to an inattentive waiter. Looking forward to your comment.

Not worth the money...

We booked spa packages with overnight stay.
The hotel itself was very modern.
The room was large, fresh but the bathroom door was a sliding glass door.
Close to elevator and amenities.
The service at the front desk could have been better, we wished that the front desk was helpful with table reservations but got the answer that we could walk ourselves to the restaurant.
The spa itself was barely acceptable. One of the saunas was closed, the saving ritual was cancelled, there were no cups and water and several of the beds had an “inoperative” sign which led to several visitors sitting on a couch waiting for a bed.
Even the service in the spa was extremely hesitant, one of the visitors asked if the sauna worked and the response was that they did not work as technicians.
When we asked about the beds, the staff at the spa sigh and ask what to do about it.
The restaurant saved the visit, otherwise it's not worth the money.

Spa package

Lovely facility with hotel, spa and restaurant. We had booked a spa package with hotel, spa and 3-course dinner. We were very pleased with our visit. What pulls down the grade a bit was that several experiences in the spa area were out of order. The pools and foot bath could have been a few degrees warmer. The spa was otherwise very clean, fresh and nice in every way. We were also unhappy with the lunch. We each ordered a tasteless sandwich with brisket but the meat was unfortunately dry. We missed a bowl of salad or salad buffet for lunch. Dinner, on the other hand, was top class and so was the service. However, it was freezing in the restaurant which several guests pointed out. The hotel room was clean and tidy.

Pests running around feet while eating...

We were there during the day and had booked a package with spa and food. The staff was very friendly and helpful. In the afternoon, however, there were teenage visitors chasing each other and shouting in the pool. Not very relaxing unfortunately. Afterwards we would eat and the food was good but guess if we were surprised when a mouse starts running around the room... First it is at a distance and we tell the staff who bring our food. The employee says he'll notify the front desk and nothing more. Shortly after we finished, the mouse runs under our table between our feet and I fly up from the chair. When I say to the staff, I am greeted by a shrug and a wonder if the front door is open.
When I further say that I do not want to sit with pests running around my feet, the staff responds by summing up the bill and charging. We didn't even get an apology... This nonchalant behavior makes me worried that pests are common in the dining room at Sankt Jorgen and how it is in the kitchen I dare not even think about...
I was sad when I looked forward to this visit and considering the price, you should not have to have mice running around your feet when eating.

Good spa and rooms, but bad food

Nice hotel room, but we had a nicer room with better views last time we were there. The spa area was great, but we lacked hot tub. The biggest disappointment was the restaurant. Last time we were there the food was good and good staff. This time one of the staff spoke English and they were not so service minded. The menu was misleading and we did not get what we had ordered. The fish was raw inside and felt more like gravad salmon. The bread was burned and we got very little potatoes that would last for two people. We walked away hungry and had to go and buy food at another place. The breakfast was good with melon, avocado mess and skagen mess which was delicious and the reception staff were nice and gave a good reception, but it is not enough because we were so disappointed compared to the last time we were there. I'm afraid it would have gotten worse.
