Nice hotel

I was able to stay at the hotel on my latest business travel trip. The overall hotel
Is very nice e, the lobby is spacious and relaxing. My room wa very nice, clean and quiet. My bed was relaxing. The hr only negative was my bathroom, for a luxury hotel my shower was a bath tub. I was disappointed, since I stay many Marriott hotels , I know that this is not the new standard. Overall good stay and great service.

Not exactly luxury

If you're looking for luxury, this probably isn't the place. For the price, we wish we had gone to the MGM Grand or another downtown hotel. We expected more and were disappointed. The rooms aren't anything special and the bathroom very small and not the cleanest. On a bright note, the front desk staff was very friendly!

Booking the room was a Cold, Insulting experience. So unwelcoming! Would not stay here again for that reason.

Pricey hotel. My husband and I were shopping at the mall near the hotel. It was an expensive hotel compared to others in the area, however, we decided it would be kind of a Christmas present to ourselves. The stay was fine - room spacious, bathroom nice, beds comfy. The elevator was so far from the rooms....good way to get some exercise if you don't mind that. Making reservations. was so cold and unfriendly, it made you feel as if you didn't want to stay. When calling to book our stay, the message given was you had reached Marriott booking (nowhere had it said this was a Marriott hotel) and you could have a text sent to you, or you should book online. I wouldn't do either. The 3rd choice was to wait for a representative....which was my choice. The representative was foreign and difficult to understand (I hate this). I did book our room. When entering the hotel I told the receptionist we were checking hotel rates in the area; just in case they offered a better rate inside the hotel. The receptionist coldly answered - "you have to book online". What a cold, insulting greeting. We would not book at this hotel again, for that reason alone. When you're considered a guest, I thought you were treated in a more welcoming manner.

Nancy at the Renaissance Baronette is outstanding and helpful. She always goes above and beyond to make sure that our stay is wonderful when we visit family. She goes the extra mile, and the service is greatly appreciated. We feel so welcome and at home at this hotel, so we always stay here when we are in town. Thank you for making our visit enjoyable. Marriott is truly lucky to have Nancy on staff.
